Questions about our service
The short version: you don't need to be home, there's no contract, and it all goes, bagged, into your trash can. Here are the details.
Do I need to be home when you come?
Nope. Most customers aren't. Just make sure we can get into the yard: leave the gate unlocked, or give us the code or lock combination when you sign up. We text when we're on the way and send a photo of your latched gate when we're done.
What if my dogs are in the yard?
Tell us about your dogs when you sign up. We text before every visit, so you can bring them inside if they're shy or protective. If a dog is loose and we can't safely get in, we'll text you and wait a few minutes. If nobody can bring the dog inside, there's a $10 trip fee.
What do you do with the poop?
We bag it, tie it off and put it in your outdoor trash can, so it goes out with your regular trash pickup. We don't haul it away.
How do you set my price?
Your price depends on how many dogs you have, how often we come, and how long it's been since the yard was last cleaned. The calculator on our pricing page shows your exact number. Yards bigger than half an acre get a custom quote.
Why does the first visit cost more?
The first visit is a catch-up cleanup that gets the whole yard back to zero, and a yard that's gone a few months takes much longer than a weekly visit. It's free with a weekly plan if the yard was cleaned in the last three months. If you cancel before you've had 4 weekly visits, we charge the cleanup at the regular price.
Is there a contract?
No contracts. Pause for vacation or cancel anytime by text or email, at least 24 hours before your next visit.
How does billing work?
We charge your card after each visit, and you get an emailed receipt every time. Weeks you pause cost nothing.
What happens when it rains or snows?
If weather keeps us out of your yard, we reschedule within 48 hours. [Winter policy, e.g. we keep coming all winter unless snow covers the ground.]
Could you bring germs from other yards?
We disinfect our tools and boots between yards, so nothing travels from one yard to the next.
